Miss Kara holds a Masters in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a B.F.A. in Dance from AdelphiUniversity. She has been teaching dance to young people for 27+ years. She danced professionally with RodRodgers Dance Company (RRDC), a Modern dance company based in Manhattan for 11 years. Kara performedprofessionally in Japan with RRDC in 2008. RRDC was featured in the New York Times (June 13, ‘06)“…standout performances from …Kara Rosales.” – Jennifer Dunning. Miss Kara teaches Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical,Modern (Horton based), Jazz/Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Tap dance. She has directed the LuHi SummerPrograms Dance program in Brookville since 1997 and is also a certified yoga instructor.
Our number one priority is safety and fun while your dancer learns to perform with poise and confidence. All sessions of LDA include Ballet, Lyrical/Modern, Jazz and Hip-Hop. At the end of each session, there will be a performance in LuHi’s theater equipped with lights and sound. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
