We got spirit, yes we do, and we get to go to Island Xtreme too! LET’S Go LuHi! LuHi’s Cheerleading Program returns in Summer 2023 new and enhanced. We have partnered with the best around Island Xtreme to provide your camper with the best cheerleading camp experience.Our renowned summer Cheerleading Program at Luhi is taking a trip off campus this year to give campers an enhanced cheerleading experience.
The Program takes place at Island Xtreme Center, located in Plainview. The facility has cheerleading equipment including spring floors, tumble track, barrels and so much more. The gym is fully equipped with all the necessities for teaching beginners through advanced. This program is for cheerleaders of all ability levels. If you have never cheered before or if you have been cheering for years and want to cheer more then this is the program for you! It is an opportunity for campers to learn what it means to be a cheerleader. The camp day will be jam packed with fundamentals of cheerleading and full of excitement. Over the two week session campers will learn how to cheer, jump, stunt and tumble.Campers will work to enhance skills they may already have and obtain new skills. Our first priority is safety, while having fun. The cheerleading staff are all cheerleading coaches at Island Xtreme! Each instructor goes through an extensive training program and is selected based on their knowledge of child development and the sport of Cheerleading For more information on this facility, you can call us at (516) 503-0315.

Cheerleading is now an off-campus program. Camp shuttles depart LuHi as close to 9:30 AM as possible to arrive at Island Xtreme Plainview by 10:00 AM. Campers eat lunch at Island Xtreme. Campers who are on the LuHi lunch program will choose from the cold selections from our cafeteria. Camp shuttles arrive back at LuHi by 3:00 PM.
