LuHi welcomes the Directors and Staff of Next Level Baseball, a training program based in Carl Place, NY.
Leading LuHi’ summer 2025 baseball program is J.C. Walsh, a dedicated baseball coach with a passion for the game that spans over several decades. Since 2007, J.C. has been deeply involved in the world of coaching baseball, guiding and shaping the talents of aspiring players across all levels. J.C has been at LuHi since 2021, J.C. brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field, particularly in the specialized art of pitching.
With a well-rounded knowledge in all baseball skills and elements, J.C. is committed to nurturing talent from the middle school to college level. His coaching philosophy centers on a comprehensive approach to the game, encompassing not just technique but also the mental and strategic aspects of baseball. Through personalized training and mentorship, J.C. empowers his players to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
LuHi’s has a partnership with St. Dominic’s School in Oyster Bay has allowed us expand our Athletic Offerings, particularly our Baseball Program. As returning campers may remember, we often use the Charles Wang Athletic Complex during the camp day, traveling the short distance to and from LuHi’s campus to utilize the pool, cafeteria, etc.
Campers need to bring their own glove, rubber cleats, and change of shoes with them to camp each day. We also recommend campers to bring their own helmet and bat to camp, as well as any other equipment they typically use- i.e. batting gloves, sliding pad, etc. If a player is interested in bringing their own specialty equipment, such as catcher’s gear, please reach out to our office and we will help you to coordinate.
