Jesus Valdes has been teaching high school social studies for over 20 years at Commack High School. He has coached multiple sports including girls badminton, football, and girls basketball. Jesus has also spent each of those 20 summers here at Luhi Summer Programs in various positions, working his way through the ranks as a counselor, assistant director, athletics coordinator, and program director.

Campers in Adventures on the Road enjoy daily excursions to some of Long Island and New York City’s top educational and entertainment attractions. During the two-week session, campers will venture out on day trips such as stand-up paddleboarding, ziplining through the Long Island Adventure Park, exploring the Atlantis Marine World Aquarium, touring Citi Field, and more! A low camper-to-counselor ratio and our experienced and knowledgeable staff ensure that all campers have a fun, enriching, and safe experience while out on the road!
