Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have been forced to make changes to our traditional transportation model. We are currently working with the transportation companies to find solutions that meet New York State and Nassau County Health Department guidelines so that we can continue to offer transportation this summer.
Centralized Transportation: Designated pick-up and drop-off locations will be arranged at schools, churches, and public parks across Long Island. This system will allow for shorter and more direct routes to campus as well as more accurate arrival and departure times. There will also be a LuHi counselor on every bus to ensure the safety of all campers. Centralized transportation is included in the tuition price for each program.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Parents and/or guardians will have the option of dropping their child off at LuHi during specific time frames, with both before and aftercare available for an additional cost. Our enhanced drop-off and pick-up procedures will allow for a streamlined and safe process. Families who choose this option for the entire session will save $100 off their tuition.
Door to Door Transportation: At this time, we are unable to offer a door-to-door transportation option for Summer 2021. If we are able to offer this option in the future, we will update our site and notify our customers accordingly. Additional charges will apply if door-to-door transportation does become available.
